Quiet extra: Nakazakicho or Kitahama café walk is the best no-ticket couple alternative.

Crowd note: The best day you could have drawn for USJ: a Tuesday straight after the three-day Sports Day weekend, when domestic crowds drop away. Halloween Horror Nights still makes this the park's busiest season, so the Express Pass is what protects the day.

Door to door sequence
- USJ: hotel → Nishikujo → JR Yumesaki Line to Universal City; exact start depends on hotel.
- Aquarium: Osaka Metro Chuo Line to Osakako.
- Platform: Confirm on station display and official app on travel day.
Taxi fallback: Taxi from a major interchange if exhausted; USJ pickup can be crowded.
Return to hotel: From USJ, JR Yumesaki line to Nishikujo, change for Osaka Station, then Midosuji south to Namba. From Kaiyukan take the Chuo line to Hommachi and Midosuji south. Leave with a buffer either way.
